ABOUT
I’m a filmmaker with a passion for sharing people's stories through art. In 2024, I graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Cinema and a Business Administration minor.
Specializing in editing, I’ve edited several short films throughout my filmmaking journey, including THE ROTTEN RIFF, THE NIGHTINGALE OF PARADISE, and UNTITLED GHOST FILM which was awarded at the 63rd SFSU Film Finals for "Best Editing". In addition, I’ve edited other short films and docs such as ROOM 520, TYRONE, and SF STATE SPIDERMAN - A SPIDERMENTARY.
Recently, I have had the pleasure of assistant editing for feature documentaries such as JOURNEYS OF BLACK MATHEMATICIANS: CREATING PATHWAYS and currently working as the Assistant Editor for BURROCRACY, which I love with all my heart! Shout out to the burro crew!
As my career moves along, I hope to continue directing documentaries and narrative films that encompass SETAREH SOUP FILMS’ mission - giving people a platform to share their stories. Around the world and amongst the stars, an abundance of stories exist, just waiting to be given the chance to be brought to life. That’s the beautiful thing about filmmaking, in the sense that just a few minutes (or a lot more!) can offer a glimpse into a vast collection of experiences.
